From the Bronx to everywhere
Hip-hop started at block parties in the Bronx in the 1970s, where DJs looped the breaks of funk and soul records for dancers and MCs. R&B runs even deeper, from the rhythm and blues of the 1940s through Motown, new jack swing and the neo-soul era to today.
These stations cover the full timeline: current chart hip-hop and R&B, 90s and 2000s throwbacks, and the old-school anthems that still fill dance floors.
